Probably should have squared the blocks before assembling the four squares. Or order a 16″ square; really can’t have too many rulers. Might skip the border and binding, and face it with white once its quilted.
Still thinking about the yeti-behemoth thing, but applique over patchwork may not be the best way to go about this again. The Tentacular appliques ended up pretty thick; I still may have to hand stitch them to the base. This time I should follow through on a small scale prototype. Or go paint something. Design the EPP logo for the corners. So much to do, so many seasons of Maine Cabin Masters.
