Basketcase needs finishing. Considered a stripe-y binding, which would look cool, but would require a lot more stripes. It’s a fun idea, but I don’t have the high/low value scraps to pull it off. Tough to justify ordering more when I have a stack of gorgeous medium blues all ready to go.
Ran the leftover stripes as light-medium-dark. Maybe some HSTs using solid blue yardage from the stash. It’s on the dark end of medium, but nothing outside the scope.
Not terrible for a first attempt. Crosswise stitches are wonky AF and sizing is entirely dependent on the dwindling scrap pile, but not terrible. Nice to have a low stakes project to improv.
