The Tarantalous Brood has been primed and waiting since November – seemed like a good day to break the seal. Trying to maintain the tabletop standard and not go insane, so slopped the skin together quickly and didn’t fuss overmuch on anything. Waiting for blue to teal washes to cure before addressing the textiles and webbing, but I don’t remember the test model being so smurfy.
Was a bit worried about the tone, but feeling better about it post-wash. The Vallejo washes are worlds beyond the AP. And matte. These beasties remind me of the Banned and the Banished.
