Making the transition from sewing storage to active sewing requires some adjustments. I like my sewing basket, but it’s a big jumble that was meant to make moving room-to-room faster. Given the current positioning of the sewing table, it has become impractical. It’s also the only basket I own capable of handling the sewing weights, so that’s convenient.
This pattern seems like a good start toward making use of the dead zone on the right side of the sewing table, though it may turn out to be a bit large. If it is, I’ll make something else. Course, I’ll probably do that anyway. I could really use some project bags and trays.
