Started my paint-along dragonkin from Anne’s PaintingBig Patreon. I’m not used to pewter models – not as fiddly as plastic, but with a false sense of solidity. Hopefully I don’t have to worry about metal fatigue because I didn’t pay attention to how much pressure I put on the dagger. The sooner it’s on a base, the better.
I think I got all the mold lines, but you never really know until you prime. The head was an easy fit; one small gap to fill. The shoulder socket was ginormous. Arm is pinned, but the position I chose leaves a sizable gap in the front shoulder. I think I’m going to hit it with green stuff first and then prime. I don’t have the energy to airbrush right now. I had to start this post just to get my ass moving.
24 hours to cure before I can prime.
