With every mistake, there comes a lesson learned

Enid’s half is finally up and the test case for Wednesday’s half is looking pretty good at 50:50 Denim and Clear Frost. I really need to work in another medium for a while. This whole application has felt more like crayons than paint – set hues and limited blending. At least with markers I can go back and pick up pigment. Oooo, markers.

The paint has bonded to the lead lines, which should make ultimate removal easier, but I need to remember to cut through any paint drips on the tape before I pull it. I also didn’t account for the mottled light. It’s beautiful, but probably best to relocate the oil painting on the adjacent wall.
