Until you felt the needle drop

It feels like forever since I took Jinx for a spin, but watching Rachel Maksy, I was reminded that sometimes you just have to rip off the Band-aid. Rather than overwhelm myself with something complicated right off the bat, I figured I may as well start with something that’s been bugging me for a while.

After the initial relocation, I reused my old bed skirt on the current frame, which has a foot board, but the skirt lacked split corners. The ruffle was also separating from the main block. Got to test drive the new gear since the kids have my iron and the movers stole my board. (Seriously, who confuses a 3lb ironing board with a massage table.)

Added some ribbons to keep the corners from flapping. I probably should have washed it before I put it back on the bed, but I was tired of seeing the gap and not that fussed. It’ll keep getting the job done until I can put together something I actually like. Or maybe airbrush it. More importantly, finally got my bobbin stash sorted.

My new thread supplier ships fast AF – should be everything I need for the L2EB menu. Maybe next time I can try something that’s not DMC.
