Moving day is creeping closer. Ironing out the details, but not giving up my glue this time. Last time I only had 6 weeks to downsize, clean everything, have the junk hauled away, blah blah blah. I knew if I kept painting, nothing would get done. By the end I was a stressed out mess. This time is only crosstown; the paints go into the tubs last and come out first. Maybe I will survive this one with my marbles mostly intact.
The overall geschalt was treelike, but there were some funky feeling voids. Closed up most of the holes at throught roughly a full bag of clump flock. Chopped up some foams ends and gave them a good crumpling and twisting with some wire pliers. Glued some together and some in place and then flocked them with clump. Faster to set, less material.
Did a few rounds of fine grade flocking from above and below and a few twirling side shots. Thinking one more round and then I need to stop picking and base it. And maybe mist it in matte medium for good measure.
