A little primer reveals problem two with the glue tree – I didn’t judge the branch shapes for shit. They’re OK-ish, I guess, but the translucency didn’t do me any favors, either in overall shape, taper, or texture. Now that it’s primed, it’s a little late to remelt. Though it is still flexible enough to reposition. So weird. It’s not irretrievably awful for a first attempt; I guess we’ll see if the clump foliage puts it over the top. Next time, start with less wire.
