Between work and forming details, I think I’ve brained enough for a Thursday evening. I’ve certainly spent enough time in the dust mask. It took a couple attempts, but I shaped life preservers and whittled boat oars. I think I have enough nets, though I am hoping primer and paint help to stiffen them up some. Cut some rough log wheels for the back of the shack, but need to figure out the wood box and maybe a small hopper for the porch.
Windows and doors are ready to be recessed into the shell and the shutters are prepped. UV resin in two of the larger halves of rivets for the portholes, and some gears like look like gears en lieu of anchors (which likely wouldn’t have washed up). One of them I turned into a sun dial; using clock hands was a little on the nose, but rock what you got. May be time to start assembly tomorrow and see where things are at. Also easier to justify dragging out the airbrush on the weekend.
