Testing mixed media with watercolors – primarily my pan set and various acrylic inks, with some calligraphy ink, bleach, and salt thrown on for good measure. I really should try it again though. The bleach wasn’t too effective on dried paint, with a few notable exceptions. Will need to try again using drops of bleach while the mix is still wet. I should probably be using more water in general, but wicking my brush is a hard habit to break. Watercolors are so different from acrylics. I may also need to dilute the bleach some; its fairly rough on the paper, though a bleach cotton swab is an effective eraser. I do also have some sand of various grits I can drag out. And maybe the 1/8” slate gravel…
