Taking a break from builds while I prep for a commission, so I launched a side mission to liberate my Catacombs terrain from my Shelf of Shame. I’m trying not to be crazy obsessive and just get the shit done.
I’m not sure what the deal is with the wash, but was weird AF again. It clumped and streaked and generally just sucked. I dry brushed in successively lighter colors, which I’m pretty happy with and then recess shaded with some flesh wash. A final light dry brush over the top to kill any shininess, and I’m calling the two bridges. As much as I love this green, it’s too translucent for convenience.
I’m not sure how I feel about the recesses on door skulls. The ramps were textured, but these are smooth and a pain to be neat about. I think I’m just going to do the entire socket dark green, sans highlighting or stippling, and and reassess.
