Kept working on the shipping containers. I’m not particularly happy with the bamboo skewers as locking rods, but I didn’t have anything with a smaller diameter and all the pasta in the house is flat. Additionally, I originally prioritized space on the corrugated paper, cut them upside down, and ended up with a couple units where the corrugation runs the wrong way. Decades of fabric layout and I can’t follow the nap on a piece of paper. 🤦‍♀️

I think they’ll make nice towers for the cyberpunk building conversions, but then I turned around and rang the stupid bell again. I didn’t check the reference photos and ended up sticking on the doors with the ass end 90 degrees off. Oh fucking well. I do need to get back to these eventually, but I need to get some bits together first and most of my current bits are fantasy. I’m debating ordering a terrain crate blister pack, but I’ll probably just scavenge something for now.

I would also prefer to airbrush these, and we should have a small warm front in this week – hopefully above 50 for a day or two. With any luck I can get a few hours in after the dentist on Friday; not like I’m going to clock back in after that.

I finally got back to the craft closet and managed to make everything fit again, provided I quit buying shit. Not holding my breath. I think 2’ x 2’ x 2” is probably going to be my max size for storing XPS, and it’s rather a pain to get behind the shelf, but oughta be fine for the foreseeable. It also freed up enough space for my hot wire cutter, which is finally assembled and…smoking?

#hobbystreak does make it a lot easier to remember wtf I did over the course of the week.

This week I also discovered Bobby Duke via TenHundred’s YT collab art project video train and it took me an embarrassingly long time to understand why he kept saying “raisin”. Also he did this <3.
