Got my airbrush, thinner, cleaner, needle oil, and respirator from Amazon. Primer should be here tomorrow, with varnish and handles to follow over the coming week. I now have the entire Warcy box assembled and ready for priming. The thin set plastic cement is a huge improvement over the original I was using. Unfortunately, my failure to seal the bottle resulted in a puddle and melted bases. My cutting mat now features a smeared bald spot and a sticker comb-over that fools no one, but I’m quite pleased nonetheless.

I did fairly well on the ShadowStalkers, though I did accidentally cut off the rock attached to her foot. It was the first one I ran into it, and it was a small fairly formless blob that I mistook for sprue, leaving about a 1/4″ surface for base attachment. I chopped a skull and made my own rock, which worked fine, and then found similar skulls on later feet, so I guess it was just bad luck that I got a the nondescript one first. Otherwise I only had one piece break, a sword, but the fix seems to be holding thus far. I really wish I’d had the thin set sooner, but live and learn.

The Scions, in particular, are going to need more mold line removal, but I’m pooped. I have sprue-goo cooking in the half bottle of cement I didn’t spill, but I’m not sure I feel ready for gap filling yet. Thinking I can build my crows in the morning, then a mold line review of all three warbands, a bucket wash and rinse, and I can crack the seal on my airbrush. Its likely to be a fairly frustrating day figuring things out and stopping to watch videos, but gotta start somewhere. I can probably get some help on Discord as well.
