I’ve been doing more research into techniques and what I’m trying to achieve, as well as the amount of time I’m willing to invest and I’ve decided to let the dryads join the AT-ST in hiatus. While I am not unhappy with how the AT-ST has developed up until this point, I’m also not particularly pleased with it. The weathering should help the AT-ST, but I want to test out makeup brushes for dry brushing on something else.
Artis Opus uses a crashed AT-ST as a demonstration of his dry brushing technique, which I liked a lot, but I’m not ready to drop $85 bucks on sable dry brushes. His technique makes a lot of sense, solves most of the issues I have with the dry brush technique I’m accustomed to, and I love the effect-to-speed ratio and the systematic approach. Shall have to test it out and see. In the mean time, I have Knights of Camelot to color code for the box. Plus little dice adventurers. Turns out there are still 2 more in the line. And then I can try new versions of the ones I started with.
