Added some yellow for the new growth transitions and then dry brushed with desert sand. I glazed over the green bark with more troll green, debating another (lighter) dry brush on those areas. Thinking vines and new foliage in lighter green with tiny pink leaves, but I’m taking a few minutes to think about it.

Maybe dry brush the darker bark with lighter green, and then use the same light green for the new foliage and dry brush the entire piece with light desert sand and a smattering of bleached linen. Moving forward, I need to either trust the process all the way through, or use a test piece to dry run it. So many things to remember; so little data retention.

I stayed closer to the battletome claim of Averland Sunset. No point in continually deciding to follow the plan through if I never actually do it. Hopefully now I can replicate on a dozen or so more models. Though a break may be in order first – knight are sounding like a nice change of pace. Also, Manglers.
